We build websites. Nice ones…

You need a website that’s clean, modern and professional – plus it needs to be fast, secure and gets your business found online

You need a site that’s responsive, so that it works just as well on a mobile phone as it does on a tablet or a laptop.

And finally, it also needs to be able to develop over time, giving your business (big or small) the room to grow.

And wouldn’t it be great if it could be looked after 24/7, giving you the time to focus on what’s really important – growing your business.

More and more often we hear of sites that have been set up but not looked after properly (if at all) and so it’s just a matter of time before they hit problems. The internet is constantly evolving and your site needs to grow along with it.

These days it’s essential that websites are looked after in order to remain safe and secure so they don’t fall victim to malware or hackers, and this is why we offer on-going maintenance for your site.

We are delighted with our website and would have no hesitation in recommending Tiny Engines!

  • About Us –

About Us
Based in Southsea on the sunny south coast, we’ve been building and looking after websites for years.
We don’t just build websites though – we’d like to think that we also build a good working relationship with our clients as we believe that a website shouldn’t just be for the short-term.
So if you’d like to meet for an informal chat to discuss your current site and what you would like to achieve, please do get in touch…

  • Our Services –

Our Services
If you are thinking about a new website – or updating an existing site – we would recommend that you get in touch and we’d be more than happy to talk through all the details and chat about your options – without any pressurised selling.
You have enough to worry about running your business, so why not let us take care of looking after your site for you?
We can design and build your new site, and if you choose, we can also provide the on-going hosting and maintenance to ensure that your site stays flying…

Design & Build
We love working with WordPress – an extremely flexible and powerful Content Management System (or ‘CMS’ for short) which means it can be used to power pretty much anything on the web; from a simple blog or a portfolio site, to a membership site or an online store.

Ease of use
WordPress is simple to get to grips with (even for new users), which means you can be up and running in no time, updating your company blog or adding new products to your store.

Expandable
Building with WordPress allows for extra functionality to be added at a later date, should you wish to add a blog, a staff-only area or sell products through an e-commerce store.

Responsive
All of our websites are fully responsive so will work equally well when viewed on a mobile phone, a tablet, a laptop or a desktop PC.

Amendments
We appreciate that sometimes things can get missed in all the excitment, so we’re happy to make some amendments once your site goes live.

Hosting & Maintenance
One of the obvious on-going costs involved in having a website is hosting. At Tiny Engines we believe that the on-going hosting and maintenance is as important as the initial build which is why we offer ‘managed hosting’. We charge a fixed monthly fee which covers both your hosting and the maintenance of your site, providing you with:

Security
The Internet can be a dangerous place and all of the parts that make up your site need to be kept up to date to prevent any chance of a security nightmare.

Backups
We routinely store regular copies of all of your site files (off-site) to make sure that should the worse happen, we can get you back up and running as soon as possible.

Speed
We can make your site load faster which in turn means your visitors or customers won’t be put off and simply click away.

Updates
Each part of your site needs to be kept up to date which means regular software updates – often on a daily basis.
